Q. HOW DO I RSVP?

Please RSVP by confirming your room reservation. We will then obtain our guest list from Shea and Cheryl.



Q.WHEN IS THE RSVP DATE?

You must book your room and make a payment equal to one room night by July 18th, 2022.



Q.WHAT ARE THE SUGGESTED TRAVEL DATES?
 
A 3-night stay is the minimum for this room block. However, the block includes a 4th night in the event that you want to stay an extra day.  Therefore, we are suggesting that our guests arrive on Wednesday, February 8th and depart on either Saturday, February 11th or Sunday, February 12th. 
If you want to arrive earlier or stay later than the dates above, just choose the dates you want when you fill out the reservation form.  




Q. WHAT IS THE PAYMENT SHEDULE?

A payment equal to one room night is all you'll need to reserve your room. The deadline for this payment is July 18th, 2022. After that, 50% of your room reservation is due by August 19th, 2022. Full payment is due by November 29th, 2022.



Q. DO I HAVE TO BOOK THROUGH YELLOW UMBRELLA EVENTS?

To be considered a part of Kristen & Hayley’s Wedding Group, you must book through this group room block and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). We offer competitive group rates and have secured a room block to make this as easy as possible. To participate in all of the wedding-related activities, you must stay at Hotel Xcaret as part of the wedding group.



Q. WHAT DOES "ALL INCLUSIVE" MEAN AND "ALL FUN INCLUSIVE"MEAN? 

All Inclusive traditionally means that your stay includes unlimited food, drinks (alcohol and non-alcoholic), entertainment and activities. At Hotel Xcaret, the All-Fun Inclusive program redefines the traditional all-inclusive plan into a more complete experience. In addition to day and nighttime activities and elegantly crafted cuisine at the resort, you can enjoy full unlimited access to our Parks: Xcaret, Xel-Ha, Xplor, Xplor Fuego, Xoximilco and Xenses, each of their dining plans, as well as deluxe Tours to Xenotes and Xichen, with round-trip transportation included.



Q. ARE THERE EXCURSIONS THAT WE CAN PARTICIPATE IN?

There are multiple tours included with your stay. Any additional excursions will be planned closer to the time of the wedding so be sure to check back here as the date nears.

Q.DO YOU HAVE A WEDDING REGISTRY?

No, we don´t have a wedding registry, celebrating with you on our special day in Mexico is the only gift we need..



Q. DOES MEXICO CHARGE ANY MANDATORY GOVERMENTAL FEES?

Several Municipalities in Cancun, Riviera Maya and Isla Mujeres have enacted an Environmental Tax to help maintain beaches and ecosystems. This tax is not included in any packages and therefore may be assessed directly by the hotel upon check out. The cost of the tax is approximately $1.30 USD, per night, per room.
There is also a new Cancun Tourism Tax:
Effective April 1, 2021, arriving international visitors to the Cancun (CUN) airport will be required to pay $11 for the privilege of visiting Cancun and surrounding areas.



Q. WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY FLIGHT? WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO FIND GOOD FLIGHT DEALS? 

We suggest that each guest book their flights sooner rather than later. The later guests wait to book their flights, the higher the risk for future cancellation or flight price increases. All guests must put their flight info on the form here https://www.yellowumbrellaevents.com/flight-info/ by January 5th, 2023 in order for transportation to and from the airport to be arranged.

We suggest setting up flight alerts. Our favorite is Google flights because it includes a wider range of airlines. Use search engines to find the best deal, but remember to book the flight itself directly via the airline to maximize your flexibility if your plans were to change.



Q. WHICH AIRPORT I SHOULD ARRIVE/DEPART?

When searching for flights, the airport you are flying to is Cancun International Airport (CUN).



Q. HOW DO I GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE RESORT?

Round trip transportation to and from the airport and Hotel Xcaret is included in your room reservation. Once you receive your flight information, be sure to fill out the form on the Yellow Umbrella Events site and they will be sure to let you know the how to find the resort transportation at the Cancun Airport.
